Scientist and inventor of the power supply that powers the Time Opener device. Leader of the Time Opener Project, which is located in a small secret research facility in Edison, NJ.
Dr. Duncan experienced his first time travel adventure when he pursued his research assistant Brent through a portal into Salem in 1692. While in 1692, he was arrested and tried as a witch along with two other time travelers. As part of his punishment by the magistrates, he was whipped ten times, and sentenced to hang. It was the actions of Brent and two native residents of 1692 who rescued him from the gallows and helped him return to the present.
Funding limitations restrict his team's time travel explorations into various historical times to about four trips per year. Duncan is permitted to accompany his team on one trip per year, but is required by the U.S. Congressional funding committe to remain in the present during all other missions. To date, his favorite mission was to make modern video and audio record of the parade and dedication ceremony for the Statue of Liberty on October 28, 1886.
Born in March 1972, Duncan has a wife but no children.
